Upon roaming the land of Manhattan isle ad nauseum I have attempted to extinguish my nausea and distinguish myself by sampling enough products to kill a plow horse. See, what did I tell you? Dinner, and then the accident story! Does the term "get over it" mean anything to you? Anyway, it's the first day of acting class and we're in the auditorium.... I digress. So, I am super excited, as your trusted leader of the world and Danielle Miceli's World of Fun to acknowledge, finally, our sister city of Londontown and salute with the fingers I have left, the Rio Olympics, yet again, as well as to review some amazing cosmetics today.
First, I like Maison Lancôme's new expensive set that includes an oud-ish lavender and a complex "marzipan" in perfume bottles that look like gold bars. The display is exciting with photos of each of the fragrance artists. Fresh's Soy Face Cleaser is great if you need to dry out your skin a little and it feels very "organic" after use although it looks like semen. I sampled it by accident and it de-oiled my skin right away without any irritation. The Laboutin vial case lipsticks are gorgeously packaged and make you feel like you are Isabella Rossellini, Meryl Streep, or Goldie Hawn in Death Becomes Her. The matte classic red was awesome on my face and had that earthy "underflair" that makes you look like you have on an entire face of make-up even though it's only red. But, one of the best offerings of the past year or two at Bloomie's or Macy's is the Estee Lauder classic perfumes at $52 with Cinnbar, Aliage, Estee, and Azuree rebottled for young fashion historians and scent collectors along with newer scents that I, personally, am less obsessed with like beyond paradise and Tuscany Per Donna.
Viva la people who can at least buy the $52 thing and I need money donated today to stay out of jail! I can go to La Rivista? Thanks.
