I Enjoyed Perusing Ethan Allen's Stock Last Week In Person at the 3rd Avenue Store and Noted Som

Ethan Allen is a chain and can help you to furnish your home with some seemingly well-made and unique items. I was impressed with some of the outre and lush styles and fabrics and custom options. Also, their $65 large scented candle collection is excellent.

One of the pieces I would get for my own place is the shiny black studded leather recliner. It is an old fashioned recliner in that you just push yourself back. I think there is a electric option as well, but the manual version is what I prefer since I have not been on one of those in a long time. There was also a sale item that had an obvious gothic styling to go with all your Sleep No More type interests and parties. It was a high back leather arm chair that looked like it was a classy, funky version of what you would see in a haunted house. The arms were curved surrealistically with studs in a serpentine arrangement. It was also done in black leather. But, the saleswoman asserted that most of the Ethan Allen items can be made to order in terms of fabric color and type. The other piece I am slightly obsessed with is the double-cushioned velvet arm chair for which you can pick two different colors of good quality velvet (or you can keep it one color). I am a velvet fiend and think that choosing a dramatic red and black or teal and pink, for example, would be nice. The double cushions make up the back of the head of the chair and give a layered appearance. A couple of satiny silver low back bedroom or sitting room chairs were really pretty mostly because of the fabric, but I liked the curve of the wooden frames.

This brand also carries a unnamed, but themed (in my opinion) line of tables that look like a beach boardwalk. The frames are grey matte metal and the undershelving is made of parallel planks in a grey-ish brown wood. There was also a pretty mandala cocktail table that made me think of the wagon wheel coffee table in When Harry Met Sally, but this one is more girly, I guess. Further, this brand it touting its Disney collection for children and a separate adult collection. I love the splatter paint "studio" couch, Mickey silhouettes black and white armchair, and black and white lacquer Mickey silhouettes bureau. The kids collection has mostly a Mickey theme with pastel items geared toward girls and primary colors geared towards both boys and girls.

I recommend a look at their website or a walk around a showroom with an escort from the brand. When you go to the website, make sure to look into all the different fabric choices since that is a big part of what makes some of the pieces shine. Link to ethanallen.com.
