Bianca Marroquin, Mexican Bitch and Extraordinary Singer/Dancer/Actress, Plays 54 Below on August 18

Bianca Marroquin is a bitch. I have had enough interactions with her to kill a plowhorse and to know that she is a pile of poop. However, I saw her in Chicago on Broadway and was stricken by how much her performing style mimicks or reflects that of Shirley MacLaine in Sweet Charity or in her early films. She is a fave performer because of that although I hesitate to throw my arms around her philosophically because she can be a little paranoid and narcissistic. I still recommend her show. You will love her effervescent onstage personality and forward delivery of song and dance (if she adds dance to the act). The food at this venue is great as is the menu. The staff is a little nutso, but don't worry about that since you are there just as a patron. Doors open at 5:15.
